DOT Physical: Who Needs It, and What It Consists of
For commercial truck drivers to get or renew their (DOT) medical certification, a DOT physical is necessary. A driver’s entire health and fitness are assessed throughout the physical to make sure they can operate these large vehicles safely. Exams for vision and hearing, a physical examination, a review of medical history, and evaluations of respiratory and cardiovascular health are usually part of it.
